North Korean leader, Kim Jong Un launched a factory this week according to North Korean media reports, making it the first time the Secretive state has released photos to show their leader was hale and hearty.
It was his first public appearance in 20 days amid speculation about his health where reports had iit that he was at the point of death.
In the new photos Kim could be seen cutting the ribbon at the opening of a fertiliser factory in Sunchon at a ceremony with other senior officials.
Kim was seen touring the plant and smiling and talking to people at the ceremony, but the authenticity of the pictures, released by the Korean Central News Agency, could not be verified.
It is his first public appearance since April 11 after he missed the April 15 birthday celebration for his late grandfather Kim Il Sung, the country’s most important holiday, for the first time since taking power in 2011.
